  • 60 Minute Massage Therapy treatment is gentle techniques to reduce stress, promote overall wellness, relax muscles, diminish pain, increase circulation and move body fluids such as blood and lymphatic’s, to nourish cells and assist in waste removal.  Relaxation massage also increases energy and vitality and creates comfort.

  • 90 Minute Massage Therapy is ideal for preventative and rehabilitave manipulation of soft tissues (muscles, connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments) to enhance health and wellbeing.  By using more specific manipulation to the muscles massage improves flexibility and less muscle tightness, pain relief, improves scar tissue, adhesions, and nerve compression.

  • 90 Minute Hot Stone Massage is a massage technique using hot stones to warm the tissue creating circulation and relaxation.   We recommend this treatment for cooler winter months to nourish and warm the body.

  • Gentle massage designed to increase movement of lymph and interstitial fluid. (Very light pressure).

  • 2 Hour Massage Therapy is like our 90 minute massage with more ability to personalize and focus on therapeutic goals through manual manipulation of soft tissues (muscles, connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments) to enhance health and wellbeing.  By using more specific manipulation to the muscles massage improves flexibility and less muscle tightness, pain relief, improves scar tissue, adhesions, and nerve compression.

  • Aromatouch is the use of essential oils to help cleanse the body. The combination brings you: a perfect blend of oils that will thoroughly relax your mind and muscles, improve your circulation, and soothe any sore or inflamed tissues in your body.

  • You can add this on to any massage for $10 (no additional time will be added).

  • Ashiatsu Massage is as a style of bodywork done by the massage therapist using their bare feet. This type of massage is able to offer deep, concentrated strokes using broad pressure, which will help the client to be able to relax while the therapist can work into deeper muscles and accomplish more during the session. Ashiatsu has ancient  Eastern roots, dating back centuries, but with a modern Western flair. This is a great type of bodywork for athletes, those suffering from chronic pain, as well as anyone who prefers an overall deep tissue massage. Only offered as a 90 min or 2 hour.

  • Maternity Massage is offered for expectant mothers who will be positioned in a side lying position with pillows to receive a massage targeting low back and hips to relieve tension and discomfort caused by the pregnancy, and to promote an over all sense of peace and well being.  We strongly recommend expecting mothers to practice self care through out their pregnancy through massage therapy.  It is important that each expecting mother get clearance from their doctor prior to treatments.

**Self Care Packages are a 12-month contract. They are upon therapists availability but can be used with any therapist. Appointments do not roll over month to month and it is the client's responsibility to make sure they get scheduled.**

How often should I receive a massage treatment?

We are often asked how often a guest should come back for a massage.  There is no right or wrong answer as every person and every body is different.  Depending on your condition, whether we are working with an old or new injury, and what your goals are will determine the frequency of your massage treatments.  At Cradle Your Soul Yoga and Massage we practice what we preach by encouraging our staff to receive a massage every two weeks or at the very least once a month.  We listen to our body and know when to care for it regularly.  Remember that even though the effects of daily hygiene routine don’t last you still take the time to shower and brush your teeth every day.

Do you do Deep Tissue Massage?

Deep Tissue is often misunderstood.  We have found that most people requesting deep tissue massage are really looking for a deep pressure Swedish massage.  When we give a deep massage we focus on communicating with the client before and during the session to be clear that the pressure is beneficial and not tearing muscle fibers.  Breathing deeply, remaining relaxed, and communicating with your therapist is the best way to achieve maximum healing during a deep tissue massage session.

How should I prepare for a massage?

Before your massage treatment plan on arriving 10 minutes early so that you are already in a relaxed state of being.  Drink plenty of water an hour before your treatment hydrating your body to maximize the healing benefits of your treatment.

Do I have to fully undress?

This is a common concern for many people receiving a massage treatment for the first time.  It is one of our top priorities for our guests to feel comfortable and safe.  It is not required for anyone to fully undress and we invite our guests to undress to their comfort level.  Most guests who are concerned about undressing completely will leave their undergarment bottoms on.
