During these 4 classes you will learn:
The basic principles of Ayurveda
Your natural constitution and the nature of any imbalances you may have
The Cause of Disease
How to heal your life using the five sense therapies including: food, touch, aromatherapy, color therapy, music therapy, and healthy lifestyle routines
Healing Techniques including meditation, nasal cleansing, pranayama (breathing techniques) and more.
Entire 4 class series: $100
Individual Drop in Classes: $30/class
Week 1. September 13th: The Cause of Disease and Your Ayurvedic Constitution. Discover why you experience disease and how to make a shift towards health. Learn more about the history of Ayurveda and your personal Ayurvedic Constitution. Includes breath work and meditation practice.
Week 2. September 27th: Ayurvedic Doshas, Personality and the Mind and the Nature of Your Imbalances. Dive deep into your constitution (dosha) and see where you may be imbalanced. Also learn the art of nasal cleansing.
Materials Needed: Neti Pot, Fine Sea Salt
Week 3 October 11th: Healing Your Life through Diet, Touch, and the Daily Rhythms of Life. Experience the 6 tastes of Ayurveda, the benefit of self massage and begin to create your own Ayurvedic daily routines.
Materials Needed: Tongue Scraper, Abhyanga (self-massage) oil
Week 4 October 25th: Healing Your Life through Aromatherapy, Vision, and Sound. Practice with your senses of smell, sight, and sound and find the right balance for your constitution. Includes creating your own custom aromatherapy spray and learning the ancient art of eye washing.
Materials Needed: Small Spray Bottle, Rose Water, Eye Cup
